Today I stepped into another world that I’m not very familiar with – but am amazed by. I was a driver for Lucy’s preschool class on their field trip to the Farm Show. We saw cows, pigs, goats and got to touch all of them! The kids expressions were priceless while touching a cow that probably weighed about 100 times more than they did.
I love the glimpse into a completely different lifestyle. I think it’s because I’ve been knitting a lot – but I keep thinking about how great it would be to own sheep and use their wool for my own yarn. This would entail a farm to house these precious sheep and I’m pretty sure that is not in our future. But there is something wonderful about the idea. The main observation from today – kids love animals. Any kind, any size, any stink 🙂
